- The new Turtle Island Project is a non-profit located along Lake Superior in Michigan's beautiful Upper Peninsula.
The Turetle Island project promotes respect for the culture and heritage of Indigenous Peoples - who among other things - have a lot to teach about protecting the environment.
The Turtle Island Project has scheduled a series of free national and regional conferences.
On the the Thursdays prior to each conference (7 p.m. ET) a Native American roudtable will be held and the agenda will be set soiley by First Nations and indigenous peoples.
